Captures the effect chain attached to the focused clip. The most surgical preset — applies only when that specific clip is the active source on a layer.

FX Presets
Snapshot the effect chain on any bus, save it to your library, apply it anywhere later. Captures every parameter, every modulator routing, every bypass state — the entire look, one click to recall.
Effects that sit on the layer itself, running over whatever clip is active. Apply to dial in a consistent feel (e.g. tunnel + bloom) across every clip on that layer.
Effects that sit on the track-level bus, post-mix across all layers. Use for global color grading, master-bus glitch, set-wide texture overlays.
Effects on the set-bus chain, the very last stage before output. Touches every track in the show — great for projector-corrected look-up tables, watermark-style overlays, master vignette.
How FX Presets work
An FX Preset is a JSON snapshot of one or more effect-chain buses — clip, layer, track, or set — captured with every parameter value and modulator routing intact. Save from the inspector at any bus; apply back to a matching bus on any clip, layer, track, or set you like. Because the snapshot is bus-grouped, one preset can carry the full vertical stack a look needs (e.g. clip bus for the source treatment + layer bus for the per-layer grade + track bus for the global wash) and re-apply it all together.
Every FX Preset can be published to the Visualz Marketplace from the preset card's kebab menu. FX Presets are tiny — they don't carry media, just the effect parameters — so they install instantly. Find other creators' FX Presets on the FX Presets tab of the marketplace.
