What it does
Analogue film halation — a warm, reddish glow that blooms around bright highlights. Red-biased bright-extract, a two-axis Gaussian blur, then a tinted screen-blend back over the original. Unlike Bloom's additive pass, the screen blend keeps highlights from clipping hard, so it reads as soft, filmic light rather than a digital blowout.

Parameters
The controls you'll see in the inspector. Like every effect parameter in Visualz, each one is audio-bindable — route a frequency band, beat onset, sweep, or MIDI CC at it and it moves with the show.

Runs everywhere effects run
Drop Halation on any of the four buses — clip, layer, track, or set — with pre-or-post placement and a per-effect dry/wet mix. Stack it with the rest of the chain freely; the engine batches everything into a single per-frame draw graph, and a chain you like can be saved as an FX preset and re-applied with one click.
